Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am definitely very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is really just the beginning. It is definitely the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is really. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Frequently, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be normally clinging on will seem like this is generally all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is literally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is usually already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are certainly these:

Unconditional love
Being generally able to clearly see what is undoubtedly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are certainly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is undoubtedly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were really acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is without a doubt now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are certainly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be without a doubt a feeling that there is really no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are literally present.

They are simply secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is certainly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are definitely trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be really very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is undoubtedly healthy.

Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

But spiritual awakening is definitely such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is truly regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person may start off to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he may likely have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he starts off to realize the deeper meaning of life. He might just get his spiritual soul awakened.

2. A dream is truly another reason for spiritual awakening. Many times it has been certainly seen that a person has dreamt of some deity or Goddess who has given some messages. From that time a person might perhaps have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is certainly fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. Though it sounds odd, it is not impossible that a person may likely face some paranormal incidents in his life which may perhaps be normally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might possibly result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

These may perhaps suddenly result in spiritual awakening. The constant search for further questions may well cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are really out from the reality. It is certainly such a state of mind where you start to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are usually in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is actually profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be usually clear that just having some kind of breakdown is actually NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are also not the point of this transformation. We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those are definitely ego goals. We are actually learning to how to be without a doubt free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is truly revealed to us what we are generally transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is without a doubt complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be simply fit into neat categories.

With that being truly said it is really helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are literally at right now. The following stages are general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is normally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you activate seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are certainly asking all the deep questions. You are truly in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set in motion dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is normally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might probably become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might perhaps have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is simply normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may likely have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper personal work

In this stage, you are truly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You might become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is undoubtedly ultimately a gift from Life.

Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are definitely felt in this stage. You may possibly feel ready to be definitely a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will start seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is simply common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is without a doubt not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is normally a complex and messy path, so it’s perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is undoubtedly unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is certainly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are usually here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is normally often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are generally and what life really is really.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were normally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

That said, a lot of initial interior work seems to get done for us. It is really almost like the Divine is actually showing us how internal work should go.

As such, surrender is simply another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is actually vital to doing inner work, but initially, surrender must come first.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is normally moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is normally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is generally not to be generally confused with the heart, which is really located to the left of the heart chakra.

Consultation on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are definitely more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is usually sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be usually cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was really due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Information on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is really causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is simply hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Guide on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams might probably be usually mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are literally not “dreaming” … that what is certainly happening is undoubtedly somehow real.

Opinions: You will remember what is literally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are usually and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is actually a feeling that something is definitely about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Pointers: There is definitely nothing to worry about. Things are actually definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are certainly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Answers: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are literally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is really adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Consultation:. Keep in mind that it is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be really stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
