Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am simply very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is simply just the beginning. It is normally the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is really. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Sometimes, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may well be undoubtedly clinging on will feel like this is truly all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is actually an especially important to time to consciously choose what is without a doubt already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:
Being without a doubt able to clearly see what is literally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are certainly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is generally wonderful.
This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is truly now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are present.
They are undoubtedly secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are generally being certainly cured of the illnesses in which you have been actually living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is really all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are truly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be literally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is generally healthy.
Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening
1. You feel as though your life is without a doubt false

5. You feel completely lost and alone
Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are without a doubt wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. You struggle to relate to people you once felt close to (i.e. your friends, work colleagues, and family members).

You are certainly sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.
9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion
As you start paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is normally awakened and you may find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. Have you ever thought of your spiritual awakening? People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is literally such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is really regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.
If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might possibly begin to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?
1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be actually a big cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this may well be simply some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he may likely have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he begins to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may perhaps get his spiritual soul awakened.
A dream is certainly another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person might have a spiritual awakening.
3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is normally fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.
4. It sounds odd, it is normally not impossible that a person might just face some paranormal incidents in his life which may be simply magical or ghostly. Such type of experience can result in the spiritual awakening of a person.
5. Any incident which is usually unexpected may perhaps take place at any time, an accident, death incident, trauma, failure, loss, etc. These can suddenly result in spiritual awakening. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might start to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions may well cause spiritual awakening inside that person.
Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are out from the reality. It is truly such a state of mind where you start off to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.
What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?
If you did have an awakening, you are truly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is certainly profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be without a doubt clear that just having some kind of breakdown is actually NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are generally also not the point of this transformation. We are definitely not trying to create a more perfect or better life; people are definitely ego goals. We are undoubtedly learning to how to be generally free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is revealed to us what we are certainly transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be simply fit into neat categories.
With that being said it is usually helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are usually general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is generally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
You start off to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you create seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
There must be really a point to all this? In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are actually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will activate dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may possibly have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
Life is really about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is literally always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may likely become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may perhaps have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is generally normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might perhaps have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.
Stage 6– Deeper inward work
In this stage, you are definitely not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You might possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You can feel ready to be simply a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is generally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is without a doubt not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is usually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are generally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is truly often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.
It is undoubtedly simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is without a doubt a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Starting running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are certainly and what life really is certainly. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is actually the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were generally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
That said, a lot of initial inside work seems to get done for us. It is simply almost like the Divine is without a doubt showing us how inside work should go.
As such, surrender is another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is undoubtedly vital to doing inward work, but initially, surrender must come first.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is generally moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is really often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is usually not to be literally confused with the heart, which is literally located to the left of the heart chakra.
Suggestions on how to deal:
Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be generally felt will keep them from being really stored in the body.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Consultation on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is undoubtedly causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is normally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Guide on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be really patient. Whatever you do, do not be truly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Sometimes the dreams are undoubtedly so real that you wake up confused. You may likely even have lucid dreams in which you are truly in control.
Many dreams might probably be truly mystical or carry messages for you.
And in some dreams, you just know that you are certainly not “dreaming” … that what is simply happening is really somehow real.
Good advice: You will remember what is undoubtedly important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are normally and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is truly a feeling that something is about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Recommendation: There is truly nothing to worry about. Things are definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are definitely prayers. There is generally nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are actually around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Useful information: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are normally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is simply adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Suggestion: Ground yourself by eating protein. In some cases “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are really healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Tip:. Keep in mind that it is normally best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
