Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am really very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is simply just the beginning. It is the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. At times, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be generally clinging on will believe that this is undoubtedly all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is really an especially important to time to consciously choose what is really already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are simply these:
Being actually able to clearly see what is truly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are generally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is definitely wonderful.
This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is undoubtedly now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are present.
They are without a doubt secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are really being actually cured of the illnesses in which you have been normally living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is certainly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are simply trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be actually very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is literally healthy.

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are without a doubt wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might perhaps kick off to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions might just cause spiritual awakening inside that person.
Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are undoubtedly out from the reality. It is actually such a state of mind where you set in motion to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.
What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?
If you did have an awakening, you are certainly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is definitely profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be truly clear that just having some kind of breakdown is usually NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are simply also not the point of this transformation. We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are ego goals. We are definitely learning to how to be free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is truly revealed to us what we are normally transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is simply complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be literally fit into neat categories.
However, with that being undoubtedly said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are simply at right now. The following stages are usually general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is normally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you start off seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you are generally asking all the deep questions. You are simply in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is normally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is generally always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper inward work
In this stage, you are usually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You might perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may likely feel ready to be a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is generally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is generally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is undoubtedly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are usually here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is simply often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.
It is simple, direct, and clear.
So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is actually a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Starting off running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are actually and what life really is generally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is normally the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were simply already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is literally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is actually coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is generally almost like the Divine is simply showing us how inner work should go.
As such, surrender is usually another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is certainly vital to doing inside work, but initially, surrender must come first.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is certainly moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.
There is truly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is undoubtedly not to be actually confused with the heart, which is undoubtedly located to the left of the heart chakra.
Tip on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are generally more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is normally sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be certainly cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was really due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Instructions on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is truly causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is undoubtedly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Tips and advice on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be usually patient. Whatever you do, do not be truly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Many dreams may be really mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are really not “dreaming” … that what is usually happening is somehow real.
Solutions: You will remember what is simply important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are normally and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is usually a feeling that something is without a doubt about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Tip: There is generally nothing to worry about. Things are literally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are simply prayers. There is without a doubt nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are definitely around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Recommendations: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are without a doubt ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is truly adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Help and advice: Ground yourself by eating protein. In some cases “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are undoubtedly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Suggestion:. Keep in mind that it is normally best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be truly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
