Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am generally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is undoubtedly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is definitely an especially important to time to consciously choose what is truly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are really these:

Unconditional love
Being undoubtedly able to clearly see what is literally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are usually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were certainly acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is certainly now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are undoubtedly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be certainly a feeling that there is literally no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are without a doubt present.

They are generally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are without a doubt being really cured of the illnesses in which you have been without a doubt living.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is usually all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are truly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be generally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is truly healthy.

With that being usually said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are normally at right now. The following stages are certainly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is usually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

With the spiritual awakening process, there is simply always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may perhaps become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

In this stage, you are simply not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You may perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Note: it is really common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is definitely not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is generally almost like the Divine is usually showing us how personal work should go.

Surrender is really another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is usually vital to doing internal work, but initially, surrender must come.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is undoubtedly moving you, you also swim.

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is really often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is definitely not to be undoubtedly confused with the heart, which is actually located to the left of the heart chakra.

Counsel on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are without a doubt more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was actually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Guidance on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is undoubtedly causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is certainly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Help and advice on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams may well be undoubtedly mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are actually not “dreaming” … that what is simply happening is truly somehow real.

Pointers: You will remember what is definitely important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … frequently several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is simply a feeling that something is generally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Hints: There is usually nothing to worry about. Things are generally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are literally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Tips: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are certainly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is really adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Counsel: Ground yourself by eating protein. Frequently “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are really healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Ideas:. It is normally best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be undoubtedly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
