As a result, I felt so alienated and suffocated with loneliness that I developed depression, health issues, and chronic anxiety, the latter lasting for many years.

What Is A Spiritual Awakening

In this profound revelation, a person’s energy moves and gets going to transform you. It heals old wounds, dissolves false beliefs and illusions, and shifts you towards your truest way of expressing yourself and living your life.Byron Katie Cockroach Spiritual Awakening

Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am normally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is without a doubt just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is usually an especially important to time to consciously choose what is literally already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are these:

Unconditional love
Being without a doubt able to clearly see what is generally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is usually wonderful.

This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is normally now in motion.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are normally present.

They are normally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is literally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be without a doubt very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is generally healthy.

Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

Have you ever thought of your spiritual awakening? People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is certainly such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is normally regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might perhaps get going to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might probably have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he may have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he initiates to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may possibly get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is really another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person may well have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is generally fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. Though it sounds odd, it is actually not impossible that a person can face some paranormal incidents in his life which can be literally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience may likely result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

5. Any incident which is certainly unexpected may take place at any time, an accident, death incident, trauma, failure, loss, etc. These might perhaps suddenly result in spiritual awakening. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might possibly start to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions may well cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are normally out from the reality. It is normally such a state of mind where you set up to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are really in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is definitely profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be normally clear that just having some kind of breakdown is literally NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are simply also not the point of this transformation. We are definitely not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those individuals are simply ego goals. We are generally learning to how to be undoubtedly free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is certainly revealed to us what we are certainly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be really fit into neat categories.

With that being undoubtedly said it is certainly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are without a doubt at right now. The following stages are usually general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is really a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you set up seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be simply a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are truly asking all the deep questions. You are usually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set up dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may perhaps have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is without a doubt a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is definitely about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is usually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might possibly have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is definitely normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might perhaps have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper personal work

In this stage, you are simply not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You might possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is definitely never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is literally ultimately a gift from Life.

Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are certainly felt in this stage. You may likely feel ready to be without a doubt a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will launch seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is truly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is really not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is literally a complex and messy path, so it is truly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is simply an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are without a doubt here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is literally often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.

It is literally simple, direct, and clear.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is usually a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are undoubtedly and what life really is simply.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were literally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can seem like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is undoubtedly important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is definitely coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inner work seems to get done for us. It’s almost like the Divine is generally showing us how personal work should go.

As such, surrender is generally another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is definitely vital to doing internal work, but initially, surrender must come first.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is really moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is definitely often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is really not to be definitely confused with the heart, which is without a doubt located to the left of the heart chakra.

Hints on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be literally felt will keep them from being undoubtedly stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are normally more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is generally sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be definitely cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was usually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Good advice on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is truly causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is normally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Guide on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be without a doubt patient. Whatever you do, do not be undoubtedly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams might just be actually mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are definitely not “dreaming” … that what is happening is literally somehow real.

Solutions: You will remember what is certainly important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is generally a feeling that something is undoubtedly about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Good advice: There is certainly nothing to worry about. Things are undoubtedly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are certainly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Suggestions: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are truly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is truly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Strategies:. It is truly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be undoubtedly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
