I had no one outside of the church that I felt comfortable talking to about my feelings. I had no true friends to confide in– and my family didn’t understand– or rather, didn’t want to. Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am normally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is simply just the beginning. It is generally the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is without a doubt. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Often, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may likely be really clinging on will feel like this is really all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is undoubtedly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is literally already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are certainly these:

Unconditional love
Being definitely able to clearly see what is real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are definitely
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is usually key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is without a doubt wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were actually acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is really now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are truly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be undoubtedly a feeling that there is literally no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are simply present.

They are simply secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there’s all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are simply trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be undoubtedly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is definitely healthy.

The changes someone makes in their external life are usually also not the point of this transformation.

In this way, it is certainly revealed to us what we are really transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is actually complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be generally fit into neat categories.

With that being normally said it is undoubtedly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are generally at right now. The following stages are general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is certainly a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you get going seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be undoubtedly a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are undoubtedly in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will commence dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is simply about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is actually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You can become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is undoubtedly normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may likely have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inward work

In this stage, you are undoubtedly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You might perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may perhaps feel ready to be without a doubt a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is simply common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is generally a complex and messy path, so it is definitely perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is simply unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is truly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are normally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is simply often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is usually a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are truly and what life really is literally.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were generally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can seem like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is normally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is literally coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial interior work seems to get done for us. It is literally almost like the Divine is actually showing us how inner work should go.

As such, surrender is usually another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is generally vital to doing interior work, but initially, surrender must come first.

With that said, surrender is generally not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is generally moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are normally going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is certainly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is without a doubt not to be normally confused with the heart, which is truly located to the left of the heart chakra.

Support on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be literally felt will keep them from being without a doubt stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are undoubtedly more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was without a doubt due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Instructions on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is definitely causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is normally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Good advice on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Sometimes the dreams are literally so real that you wake up confused. You might even have lucid dreams in which you are without a doubt in control.

Many dreams may perhaps be certainly mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are really not “dreaming” … that what is literally happening is certainly somehow real.

Information and facts: You will remember what is normally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are undoubtedly and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is literally a feeling that something is generally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Pointers: There is certainly nothing to worry about. Things are really definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are usually prayers. There is certainly nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are undoubtedly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Help and advice: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are actually ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is normally adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Tip: Ground yourself by eating protein. Sometimes “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are simply healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Support:. It is simply best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be actually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
