Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am really very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is undoubtedly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is really an especially important to time to consciously choose what is generally already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are really these:
Being truly able to clearly see what is literally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are normally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were definitely acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is really now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.
The lights in the house are really all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be literally a feeling that there is really no going back.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are definitely present.
They are really secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is certainly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are truly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be definitely very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is definitely healthy.

As you initiate paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. 7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be usually fit into neat categories.
With that being actually said it is certainly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are generally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is certainly a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you initiate seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you are certainly asking all the deep questions. You are truly in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may possibly have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is certainly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
Life is really about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is undoubtedly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might probably have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is really normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may likely have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.
Stage 6– Deeper inward work
In this stage, you are definitely not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inner work. You might possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inside child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is normally never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is definitely ultimately a gift from Life.
Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are usually felt in this stage. You might feel ready to be undoubtedly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will commence seeing things from the big picture.
Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.
Note: it is normally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is normally a complex and messy path, so it is usually perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.
Your spiritual awakening process is normally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is truly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are definitely here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is definitely often very mundane.
So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Starting running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are generally and what life really is undoubtedly. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is normally the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were truly already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
That said, a lot of initial internal work seems to get done for us. It’s almost like the Divine is actually showing us how internal work should go.
Surrender is definitely another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is truly vital to doing inner work, but initially, surrender must come.
With that said, surrender is usually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is undoubtedly moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are really going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is normally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is normally not to be confused with the heart, which is actually located to the left of the heart chakra.
Good advice on how to deal:
Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be certainly felt will keep them from being literally stored in the body.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are certainly more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is usually sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be generally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was without a doubt due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Help and advice on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is really causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is actually hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Pointers on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be normally patient. Whatever you do, do not be definitely afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Often the dreams are without a doubt so real that you wake up confused. You might just even have lucid dreams in which you are normally in control.
Many dreams might just be normally mystical or carry messages for you.
And in some dreams, you just know that you are normally not “dreaming” … that what is without a doubt happening is somehow real.
Instructions: You will remember what is normally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are generally and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is simply a feeling that something is actually about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Hints and tips: There is truly nothing to worry about. Things are simply definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are definitely around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Answers: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are definitely ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is simply adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Good advice: Ground yourself by eating protein. Frequently “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are really healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Advise:. It is certainly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be certainly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
