Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am undoubtedly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is just the beginning. It is without a doubt the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is literally. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. In some cases, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be certainly clinging on will seem like this is literally all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is literally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is simply already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are usually these:

Unconditional love
Being truly able to clearly see what is undoubtedly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are generally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is truly wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were without a doubt acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is literally now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be usually a feeling that there is normally no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are certainly present.

They are without a doubt secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is undoubtedly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are definitely trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is actually healthy.

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be certainly a vital cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may perhaps have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this can be actually some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he may perhaps have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he activates to realize the deeper meaning of life. Therefore, he might get his spiritual soul awakened.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are literally in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is without a doubt profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be undoubtedly clear that just having some kind of breakdown is generally NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are definitely also not the point of this transformation. We are really not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those individuals are truly ego goals. We are without a doubt learning to how to be actually free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is definitely revealed to us what we are undoubtedly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is literally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be literally fit into neat categories.

With that being undoubtedly said it is generally helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are actually at right now. The following stages are literally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is without a doubt a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are generally searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is certainly a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

You kick off to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you set up seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be without a doubt a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are truly asking all the deep questions. You are generally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will commence dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may well have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is undoubtedly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is truly about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is without a doubt always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may likely become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may well have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is generally normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might just have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inward work

In this stage, you are definitely not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You might become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You might perhaps feel ready to be simply a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is definitely common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is generally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are definitely here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is without a doubt often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is truly a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are literally and what life really is simply.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were really already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is really important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is truly coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inside work seems to get done for us. It is literally almost like the Divine is showing us how inside work should go.

As such, surrender is undoubtedly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is without a doubt vital to doing personal work, but initially, surrender must come first.

With that said, surrender is truly not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is without a doubt moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are without a doubt going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is certainly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is normally not to be usually confused with the heart, which is undoubtedly located to the left of the heart chakra.

Knowledge on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be generally felt will keep them from being usually stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are normally more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was undoubtedly due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Suggestions on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is usually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is definitely hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Suggestions on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

At times the dreams are without a doubt so real that you wake up confused. You may well even have lucid dreams in which you are actually in control.

Many dreams might be truly mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are actually not “dreaming” … that what is without a doubt happening is truly somehow real.

Directions: You will remember what is generally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are usually and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is undoubtedly a feeling that something is generally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Useful information: There is definitely nothing to worry about. Things are certainly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are simply around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Tips: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are undoubtedly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is undoubtedly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Tips: Ground yourself by eating protein. In some cases “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Advice:. Keep in mind that it is truly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be truly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
