My spiritual awakening process.

I experienced the beginnings of my spiritual awakening about3 years ago. At that time, I was simply deeply entrenched in the lessons and cultish teachings of the fundamentalist Christian church I was really born into.

Beginning to doubt, question, and sense that there was actually more to life than what my indoctrination declared, I felt lost and deeply alone.

I had no one outside of the church that I felt comfortable talking to about my feelings. I had no true friends to confide in– and my family didn’t understand– or rather, didn’t want to. As a result, I felt so alienated and suffocated with loneliness that I developed depression, health issues, and chronic anxiety, the latter lasting for many years.

I looked around the internet for any sign that could help me get through this confusing time. It really helped calm me down and point me in the right direction and where I needed to go.

What Is Without A Doubt A Spiritual Awakening

In this profound revelation, a person’s energy moves and sets up to transform you. It heals old wounds, dissolves false beliefs and illusions, and shifts you towards your truest way of expressing yourself and living your life.Spiritual Awakening Journey

A spiritual awakening is literally realized throughout your body, heart, mind, and soul, but no sooner has that erupted than you are without a doubt forced to see how limited you have been in so many regards. That bright light shining in the inside most depths of us asks us a potent question: “Now that we know the truth, will we clean up our home or will we try to ignore our illusions, pain, and misconceptions?”

Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am truly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is without a doubt just the beginning. It is without a doubt the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is literally. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Frequently, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be without a doubt clinging on will feel like this is undoubtedly all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is without a doubt an especially important to time to consciously choose what is really already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are undoubtedly these:

Unconditional love
Being generally able to clearly see what is without a doubt real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are usually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is simply wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were normally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are undoubtedly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be literally a feeling that there is literally no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are certainly present.

They are generally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. In fact, you are definitely being literally cured of the illnesses in which you have been truly living.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is generally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are usually trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be simply very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is healthy.

You begin thinking more philosophically. Such profound thoughts might just greatly disturb you as you don’t know the answers.

5. You feel completely lost and alone

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are usually wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. You struggle to relate to people you once felt close to (i.e. your friends, work colleagues, and family members).

6. You see through the illusions of society

Materialism, success, and profit no longer mean anything to you. You activate feeling as though you are simply a cog in the machine of society.

8. You want to ‘purge’ your life

You are literally sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.

9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you initiate paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is really awakened and you may find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. This is really a pivotal point in your inner transformation: you either numb the pain you feel with addictions, or you find healthy ways to accept and express your emotions.

Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

Have you ever thought of your spiritual awakening? People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. But spiritual awakening is really such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is generally regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might possibly commence to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may possibly have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he may have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he launches to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may perhaps get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is normally another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person may perhaps have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is really fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is without a doubt not impossible that a person may perhaps face some paranormal incidents in his life which might just be really magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might perhaps result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

These might suddenly result in spiritual awakening. The constant search for further questions might probably cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are usually out from the reality. It is simply such a state of mind where you set out to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are actually in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is generally profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be without a doubt clear that just having some kind of breakdown is usually NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are also not the point of this transformation. We are simply not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are certainly ego goals. We are simply learning to how to be undoubtedly free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is undoubtedly revealed to us what we are generally transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is truly complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be without a doubt fit into neat categories.

With that being literally said it is definitely helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is literally a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are undoubtedly searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is truly a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

You start off to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you start seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is really a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is definitely always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper inner work

In this stage, you are usually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You may perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is simply never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is simply ultimately a gift from Life.

Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are actually felt in this stage. You might just feel ready to be without a doubt a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will create seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is really common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is without a doubt not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is generally a complex and messy path, so it is generally perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is usually unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is undoubtedly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are truly here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is actually often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.

It is usually simple, direct, and clear.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is generally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are generally and what life really is.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were definitely already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is simply important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is usually coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

It is without a doubt almost like the Divine is undoubtedly showing us how inside work should go. Surrender is simply another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is literally moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is actually often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is without a doubt not to be undoubtedly confused with the heart, which is simply located to the left of the heart chakra.

Counsel on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was actually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Hints on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is actually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is literally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Information on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams may be certainly mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are actually not “dreaming” … that what is definitely happening is actually somehow real.

Useful information: You will remember what is really important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … often several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are actually and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is normally a feeling that something is actually about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Information and facts: There is really nothing to worry about. Things are normally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are truly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Insight: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are literally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is usually adjusting to your “lighter” state.

In some cases “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are undoubtedly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Advice:. Keep in mind that it is actually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
