If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might perhaps start to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be simply a significant cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may likely have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this might probably be normally some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. A dream is actually another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person may possibly have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is without a doubt fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. Though it sounds odd, it is literally not impossible that a person may face some paranormal incidents in his life which might probably be generally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might just establish to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions might just cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are truly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is really profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

The changes someone makes in their external life are also not the point of this transformation.

We are without a doubt not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those are normally ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is without a doubt revealed to us what we are undoubtedly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is truly complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be really fit into neat categories.

With that being usually said it is undoubtedly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are usually at right now. The following stages are literally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is actually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you create seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be actually a point to all this? In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are simply in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set out dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is literally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper personal work

In this stage, you are literally not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep interior work. You might become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inward child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You might feel ready to be generally a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is literally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is actually not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is definitely a complex and messy path, so it is truly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is without a doubt unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is normally an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are generally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is literally often very mundane.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is undoubtedly a good time to get out your ego peeler.

Starting running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are without a doubt and what life really is generally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is certainly the beauty of the ego peeler.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is generally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is usually coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

It is simply almost like the Divine is definitely showing us how inner work should go. Surrender is another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

With that said, surrender is usually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is normally moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are really going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is literally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is undoubtedly not to be undoubtedly confused with the heart, which is actually located to the left of the heart chakra.

Opinions on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are without a doubt more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is normally sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be generally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was actually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Consultation on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is certainly causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is actually hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Suggestion on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

At times the dreams are simply so real that you wake up confused. You might just even have lucid dreams in which you are really in control.

Many dreams might possibly be actually mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are actually not “dreaming” … that what is simply happening is somehow real.

Tip: You will remember what is simply important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are undoubtedly and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is actually a feeling that something is really about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Hints and tips: There is truly nothing to worry about. Things are undoubtedly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are actually around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Ideas: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are undoubtedly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is certainly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Ideas: Ground yourself by eating protein. Occasionally “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are usually healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Solutions:. It is without a doubt best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
