Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am truly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is usually just the beginning. It is truly the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is actually. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. In some cases, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be undoubtedly clinging on will feel like this is actually all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is truly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is without a doubt already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are actually these:
Being actually able to clearly see what is certainly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are usually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is truly wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were certainly acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is really now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.
The lights in the house are actually all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be simply a feeling that there is without a doubt no going back.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are normally present.
They are really secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is literally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are normally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be without a doubt very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is truly healthy.
Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

3. You begin asking deep questions
Questions such as “Why am I here?” “What is certainly the purpose of life?” “What happens after we die?” “Why do people suffer?” arise. You begin thinking more philosophically. Such profound thoughts may greatly disturb you as you don’t know the answers.

You kick off to see how many beliefs, feelings, and values are literally not actually your own, but other people’s or inherited from your culture.
5. You feel completely lost and alone
Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people.

You are certainly sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.
9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion
As you begin paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is really awakened and you might find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. This is without a doubt a pivotal point in your internal transformation: you either numb the pain you feel with addictions, or you find healthy ways to accept and express your emotions.

If you did have an awakening, you are normally in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is normally profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be definitely clear that just having some kind of breakdown is without a doubt NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are certainly also not the point of this transformation. We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; all those are certainly ego goals. We are simply learning to how to be without a doubt free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is without a doubt revealed to us what we are certainly transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be generally fit into neat categories.
With that being simply said it is really helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are definitely at right now. The following stages are really general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is usually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
You activate to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you set up seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you are without a doubt asking all the deep questions. You are usually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is simply a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is undoubtedly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper internal work
In this stage, you are certainly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You may well become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You might just feel ready to be a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is generally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is undoubtedly not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is without a doubt an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are truly here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is undoubtedly often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.
It is certainly simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is simply a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Setting up running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are usually and what life really is actually. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is definitely the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were usually already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is usually important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is generally coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
It is definitely almost like the Divine is really showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is really another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
With that said, surrender is truly not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are actually going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is simply often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is generally not to be without a doubt confused with the heart, which is located to the left of the heart chakra.
Useful information on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are really more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is truly sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be generally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was without a doubt due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Advise on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is normally causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is actually hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Solutions on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Many dreams may possibly be generally mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are literally not “dreaming” … that what is without a doubt happening is literally somehow real.
Knowledge: You will remember what is definitely important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … in some cases several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are generally and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is generally a feeling that something is literally about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Support: There is really nothing to worry about. Things are simply definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are normally prayers. There is simply nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are certainly around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Answers: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are truly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is actually adjusting to your “lighter” state.
At times “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are without a doubt healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Tip:. It is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
