Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am normally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is certainly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is simply an especially important to time to consciously choose what is definitely already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are actually these:

Unconditional love
Being without a doubt able to clearly see what is undoubtedly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are truly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is certainly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is usually wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were generally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is without a doubt now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are simply all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be actually a feeling that there is generally no going back.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is generally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be certainly fit into neat categories.

With that being without a doubt said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are without a doubt at right now. The following stages are normally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is simply a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are usually searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is definitely a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

You create to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you create seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be usually a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are certainly asking all the deep questions. You are generally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will set in motion dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may well have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is undoubtedly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is usually about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is undoubtedly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may perhaps have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is literally normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may possibly have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper interior work

In this stage, you are literally not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You can become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your internal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is really ultimately a gift from Life.

Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are really felt in this stage. You may well feel ready to be really a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will launch seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is definitely common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is actually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are definitely here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is undoubtedly often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is truly a good time to get out your ego peeler.

Setting out running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are actually and what life really is actually. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is simply the beauty of the ego peeler.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were certainly already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is usually almost like the Divine is usually showing us how inward work should go.

Surrender is certainly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is truly vital to doing personal work, but initially, surrender must come.

With that said, surrender is usually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is definitely moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are without a doubt going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is without a doubt often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is simply not to be literally confused with the heart, which is really located to the left of the heart chakra.

Instructions on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are without a doubt more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is usually sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be certainly cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Instructions on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is really causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is without a doubt hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Hints on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Often the dreams are undoubtedly so real that you wake up confused. You might possibly even have lucid dreams in which you are normally in control.

Many dreams may well be generally mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are actually not “dreaming” … that what is generally happening is truly somehow real.

Consultation: You will remember what is actually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are definitely and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is actually a feeling that something is about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Helpful advice: There is undoubtedly nothing to worry about. Things are usually definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are really prayers. There is really nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Tips and advice: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are generally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is certainly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

At times “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Tips and advice:. Keep in mind that it is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be usually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
