Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am literally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is undoubtedly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is generally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is usually already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are usually these:
Being generally able to clearly see what is real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are actually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is usually wonderful.
This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are definitely present.
They are usually secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is literally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are literally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be undoubtedly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is undoubtedly healthy.

I want to be generally clear that just having some kind of breakdown is literally NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are actually also not the point of this transformation. We are literally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are undoubtedly ego goals. We are without a doubt learning to how to be actually free of ego.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is normally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be literally fit into neat categories.
However, with that being said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you’re at right now. The following stages are simply general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is definitely a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
You start off to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you commence seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you’re asking all the deep questions. You are actually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may perhaps have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is normally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
Life is undoubtedly about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is really always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may likely have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is actually normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you might probably have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.
Stage 6– Deeper inward work
In this stage, you are literally not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You may perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inner child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may well feel ready to be undoubtedly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is definitely common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is without a doubt not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is certainly a complex and messy path, so it is simply perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.
Your spiritual awakening process is generally unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are undoubtedly here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is simply often very mundane.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is certainly a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Initiating running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are and what life really is actually. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is undoubtedly the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were undoubtedly already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is usually important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is simply coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is certainly almost like the Divine is simply showing us how inside work should go.
As such, surrender is normally another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is simply vital to doing inner work, but initially, surrender must come.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is actually moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is certainly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is simply not to be literally confused with the heart, which is located to the left of the heart chakra.
Strategies on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was simply due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Guide on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is certainly causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is truly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Solutions on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be usually patient. Whatever you do, do not be actually afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Occasionally the dreams are actually so real that you wake up confused. You might even have lucid dreams in which you are undoubtedly in control.
Many dreams may be without a doubt mystical or carry messages for you.
And in some dreams, you just know that you are certainly not “dreaming” … that what is literally happening is certainly somehow real.
Opinion: You will remember what is certainly important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are truly and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is definitely a feeling that something is undoubtedly about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Assistance: There is actually nothing to worry about. Things are normally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are definitely prayers. There is nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Information and facts: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are without a doubt ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is literally adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Information: Ground yourself by eating protein. At times “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Answers:. Keep in mind that it is simply best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be actually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
