Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am undoubtedly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is usually just the beginning. It is certainly the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is usually. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. In some cases, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might probably be without a doubt clinging on will believe that this is generally all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is actually an especially important to time to consciously choose what is certainly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are generally these:

Unconditional love
Being able to clearly see what is certainly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are certainly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is generally key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is generally wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were simply acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is certainly now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are literally all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be simply a feeling that there is truly no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are generally present.

They are really secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is normally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are literally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be usually very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is simply healthy.

Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

1. You feel as though your life is false

Questions such as “Why am without a doubt I here?” “What is actually the purpose of life?” “What happens after we die?” “Why do people suffer?” arise. You begin thinking more philosophically. Such profound thoughts can greatly disturb you as you don’t know the answers.

4. You realize that a lot of what you’ve been usually taught is actually a lie

You begin to see how many beliefs, feelings, and values are really not actually your own, but other people’s or inherited from your culture.

5. You feel completely lost and alone

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people.

6. You see through the illusions of society

Materialism, success, and profit no longer mean anything to you. You initiate feeling as though you are literally a cog in the machine of society.

7. You see how unhappy most people are without a doubt

You awaken to the unhappiness and suffering of others. You can start to explore activism or read more about the human condition. It is undoubtedly tormenting for you to realize how much pain there is undoubtedly in the world.

You are without a doubt sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.

9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you start off paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is without a doubt awakened and you might just find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. This is certainly a pivotal point in your personal transformation: you either numb the pain you feel with addictions, or you find healthy ways to accept and express your emotions.

Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

Have you ever thought of your spiritual awakening? People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. But spiritual awakening is literally such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is generally regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person may likely launch to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might probably have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he may likely have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he kicks off to realize the deeper meaning of life. He might just get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is really another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person can have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is generally fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is not impossible that a person can face some paranormal incidents in his life which may likely be actually magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might just result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

5. Any incident which is actually unexpected might take place at any time, an accident, death incident, trauma, failure, loss, etc. These may well suddenly result in spiritual awakening. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might perhaps establish to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions might just cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are simply out from the reality. It is really such a state of mind where you begin to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are actually in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is really profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be normally clear that just having some kind of breakdown is usually NOT awakening.

The changes someone makes in their external life are actually also not the point of this transformation. We are certainly not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those are simply ego goals. We are normally learning to how to be usually free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is definitely revealed to us what we are undoubtedly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be really fit into neat categories.

With that being definitely said it is really helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are certainly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is certainly a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is truly a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

You create to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you set out seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

In this stage, you are actually asking all the deep questions. You are usually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may possibly have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is really a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is undoubtedly about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is generally always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may likely become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might probably have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is definitely normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may well have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inward work

In this stage, you’re not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inner work. You might become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You might just feel ready to be a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is certainly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is usually not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is truly a complex and messy path, so it is truly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is literally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is actually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are definitely here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is really often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.

It is really simple, direct, and clear.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is truly a good time to get out your ego peeler.

Launching running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are normally and what life really is literally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is normally the beauty of the ego peeler.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were normally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

That said, a lot of initial inner work seems to get done for us. It’s almost like the Divine is simply showing us how interior work should go.

Surrender is truly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is truly vital to doing internal work, but initially, surrender must come first.

With that said, surrender is usually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is really moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are generally going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is usually often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).

This is definitely not to be literally confused with the heart, which is literally located to the left of the heart chakra.

Tip on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was literally due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Recommendation on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is definitely hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Recommendations on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams might be certainly mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are certainly not “dreaming” … that what is happening is simply somehow real.

Information and facts: You will remember what is definitely important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … often several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are undoubtedly and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is really a feeling that something is undoubtedly about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Consultation: There is certainly nothing to worry about. Things are simply definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are generally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Counsel: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are normally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is definitely adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Information:. It is really best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be generally stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
