The changes someone makes in their external life are normally also not the point of this transformation.

We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are undoubtedly ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is generally revealed to us what we are truly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is undoubtedly complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be truly fit into neat categories.

However, with that being undoubtedly said it is usually helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are literally at right now. The following stages are undoubtedly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is really a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you launch seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

In this stage, you are definitely asking all the deep questions. You are simply in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may possibly have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is normally always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You can become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper inward work

In this stage, you are usually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You might probably become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inside child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may perhaps feel ready to be usually a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is usually common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is generally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is generally a complex and messy path, so it is truly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.

Your spiritual awakening process is usually unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is certainly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is really often very mundane.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is really a good time to get out your ego peeler.

Creating running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are usually and what life really is definitely. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That’s the beauty of the ego peeler.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were certainly already within us.

However, it is normally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is usually coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

It is without a doubt almost like the Divine is literally showing us how inner work should go. Surrender is without a doubt another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is usually moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is literally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is definitely not to be normally confused with the heart, which is undoubtedly located to the left of the heart chakra.

Answers on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be usually felt will keep them from being literally stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are more sensitive to every thing around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was generally due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Counsel on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is actually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is truly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Ideas on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

In some cases the dreams are so real that you wake up confused. You can even have lucid dreams in which you are generally in control.

Many dreams may perhaps be usually mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are truly not “dreaming” … that what is generally happening is generally somehow real.

Opinions: You will remember what is usually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … at times several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are usually and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is generally a feeling that something is simply about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Advise: There is without a doubt nothing to worry about. Things are generally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are really prayers. There is nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are actually around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Opinion: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are truly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is actually adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Often “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are truly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Suggestions:. It is truly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be definitely stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
