A spiritual awakening is realized throughout your body, heart, mind, and soul, but no sooner has that erupted than you are simply forced to see how limited you have been truly in so many regards. Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is undoubtedly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is actually an especially important to time to consciously choose what is generally already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are usually these:

Unconditional love
Being truly able to clearly see what is real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are certainly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is usually key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were simply acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is simply now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.

The lights in the house are definitely all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be generally a feeling that there is no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are truly present.

They are normally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is certainly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.

Many people are normally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be normally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is healthy.

Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

You kick off to see how many beliefs, feelings, and values are simply not actually your own, but other people’s or inherited from your culture.

5. You feel completely lost and alone

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are normally wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. 9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you start paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is normally awakened and you might find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may possibly have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he might perhaps have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he kicks off to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may perhaps get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is undoubtedly another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person might possibly have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is actually fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. Though it sounds odd, it is usually not impossible that a person can face some paranormal incidents in his life which might possibly be truly magical or ghostly. Such type of experience may possibly result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

The constant search for further questions might just cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are normally out from the reality. It is such a state of mind where you get going to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are truly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is truly profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

The changes someone makes in their external life are definitely also not the point of this transformation.

We are literally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are truly ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is literally revealed to us what we are normally transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is literally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be really fit into neat categories.

With that being generally said it is truly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are undoubtedly at right now. The following stages are generally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is really a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you start off seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be actually a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are really asking all the deep questions. You are definitely in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will activate dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is simply a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper internal work

In this stage, you are simply not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You might probably become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, personal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inner work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is usually ultimately a gift from Life.

Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are normally felt in this stage. You can feel ready to be truly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will set out seeing things from the big picture.

Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is undoubtedly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is undoubtedly not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are undoubtedly here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is undoubtedly often very mundane.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is really a good time to get out your ego peeler.

Establishing running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are undoubtedly and what life really is. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is actually the beauty of the ego peeler.

When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were really already within us.

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

That said, a lot of initial inner work seems to get done for us. It’s almost like the Divine is certainly showing us how inside work should go.

Surrender is without a doubt another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is certainly vital to doing inner work, but initially, surrender must come first.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is usually moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

There is simply often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is undoubtedly not to be actually confused with the heart, which is simply located to the left of the heart chakra.

Strategies on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are actually more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be truly cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was simply due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Strategies on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is actually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is truly hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Instructions on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

At times the dreams are really so real that you wake up confused. You may possibly even have lucid dreams in which you are without a doubt in control.

Many dreams might possibly be truly mystical or carry messages for you.

And in some dreams, you just know that you are not “dreaming” … that what is literally happening is literally somehow real.

Knowledge: You will remember what is actually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … frequently several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are literally and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is simply a feeling that something is usually about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Pointers: There is actually nothing to worry about. Things are without a doubt definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are literally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Insight: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are actually ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is undoubtedly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

In some cases “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Help:. Keep in mind that it is generally best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be really stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
