Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am generally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is generally just the beginning. It is generally the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is without a doubt. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Occasionally, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be generally clinging on will feel like this is undoubtedly all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is definitely an especially important to time to consciously choose what is simply already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:
Being definitely able to clearly see what is literally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are generally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful.
This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is literally now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are normally present.
They are simply secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is undoubtedly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are normally trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be really very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is certainly healthy.
Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening
1. You feel as though your life is normally false
Every thing that you have believed, built, and worked towards seems to be generally false. Your life doesn’t feel as though it is normally your own. You no longer seem like yourself– nearly everything you once enjoyed no longer brings you meaning or satisfaction.

The reason behind this may likely be normally some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?
If you did have an awakening, you are undoubtedly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is usually profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.
I want to be generally clear that just having some kind of breakdown is generally NOT awakening.
The changes someone makes in their external life are generally also not the point of this transformation. We are definitely not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those are ego goals. We are without a doubt learning to how to be definitely free of ego.
To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is really revealed to us what we are actually transforming into.
7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is literally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be without a doubt fit into neat categories.
However, with that being actually said it is definitely helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are literally at right now. The following stages are truly general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is truly a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
You begin to perceive reality in a totally different way. In this stage, you set out seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You feel unhappy with life, disturbed by the suffering you see and hopeless to the ills of the world. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
There must be generally a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are actually asking all the deep questions. You are usually in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will start off dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
Life is definitely about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is undoubtedly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may perhaps become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is usually normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you can have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.
Stage 6– Deeper inside work
In this stage, you are simply not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You may possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inner child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is generally ultimately a gift from Life.
Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are definitely felt in this stage. You may likely feel ready to be certainly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will begin seeing things from the big picture.
Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.
Note: it is undoubtedly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is truly not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is actually a complex and messy path, so it is usually perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.
Your spiritual awakening process is normally unique to you. I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is usually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is actually often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.
It is actually simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is literally a good time to get out your ego peeler.
Setting up running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are simply and what life really is really. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is undoubtedly the beauty of the ego peeler.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were usually already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can seem like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is usually important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is certainly coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is simply almost like the Divine is certainly showing us how inner work should go.
As such, surrender is usually another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is truly vital to doing inward work, but initially, surrender must come first.
With that said, surrender is normally not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is literally moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are literally going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest).
This is literally not to be without a doubt confused with the heart, which is really located to the left of the heart chakra.
Opinions on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are simply more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was normally due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Consultation on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is certainly causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is definitely hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Tip on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be patient. Whatever you do, do not be certainly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Frequently the dreams are normally so real that you wake up confused. You might even have lucid dreams in which you are simply in control.
Many dreams might just be actually mystical or carry messages for you.
And in some dreams, you just know that you are undoubtedly not “dreaming” … that what is definitely happening is truly somehow real.
Insight: You will remember what is undoubtedly important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … frequently several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are normally and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is without a doubt a feeling that something is usually about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Helpful advice: There is normally nothing to worry about. Things are literally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are simply around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Information and facts: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are certainly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is really adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Occasionally “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are simply healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Directions:. Keep in mind that it is undoubtedly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be simply stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
